High Power LED Flashlight

I'm talking about the torch which can:

* Has the ability to throw light over 300meters

* Has an operation time of 150hrs

* Is waterproof up to IPX-8 Standards

* And is made with a Type III anti-abrasive hard-anodized finish

My backyard is only a mere 25meters wide. Standing atop my verandah while I shine my torch on my yard, I can light my yard fence to fence as if it were daylight.

The Fenix TK40 can operate in eight modes. Four of those modes are for primary functions and the other modes are for secondary functions.

Of the four modes the following are their output measures in lumen.

* Low - 13 Lumens

* Medium - 93 Lumens

* High - 277 Lumens

* TURBO - 630 Lumens

When you compare the Fenix torch with the mag light torch at full power it's like running the medium setting on the Fenix torch. This is also with the beam from the mag light adjusted to the same size as the TK40.

So, like I said earlier, for each mode there are secondary functions, those are:

* Low - Slow flash

* Medium - SOS flash (good for emergencies)

* High - Fast flash

* TURBO - Strobe

It's obvious that having an SOS function is a life saver. Who wants to have to turn their flashlight off and on by hand. Any of the above secondary functions could serve you well one day in the correct situation. For example, you could use the slow flash as a marker for a nocturnal navigational course. The strobe could also be a good surprise for people which you could disorient in a security/police officer kind of way.

This thing will beam for 150hrs straight on the low setting. That's like 6 days straight of light. How bright is its lowest setting? Well it is bright enough for situations like being in a tent at night. It sure is bright enough for when you wake up in the night and you've been sleeping. it can sure light up my home at night on the low setting.

When it's set to the TURBO setting it turns into a really bright LED flashlight which you can use as a spotlight when you're hunting or shooting. Seriously! And it will run a good 2hrs on turbo.

If you are in pitch black darkness, you can place the torch on a table while it's pointed at the roof, and if you light it on turbo mode it's like having a light on in the house.

You could sit down and read a paper, and what you would normally do when you have the lights on. It is truly the best flashlight that I have ever owned and used. I still cant get over the brightness of this baby. This is one super powered led flashlight.
